The work often begins with something perceived or felt—a color, a quality of light, the air on a foggy day. Through layering, removing, and returning, forms gradually emerge and shift.

What appears settled can become uncertain again. Different moments remain present, while one painting can change the way another is seen.

These relationships continue to shift through time, distance, and space. What remains open is not only the painting, but the way it can be seen again.
